Early Years Education
Here at the Summerhill Foundation, we have spent over 12 months researching how our support can have the biggest possible impact where it’s needed the most.
We met and listened to Health and Education professionals, Government experts, Community associations, Charities and Professional Parenting programme designers. We also travelled to Scotland to learn more about a huge Government initiative seen as a pioneering Early Years play programme which ensures no communities are left behind regardless of location and economic status.
We were inspired by these talks and from our findings, we now know that early intervention and family support is the single most important time in a child’s life. This is when we can achieve the biggest impact in amplifying and encouraging learning that will change the path of a child’s life forever.
Moving forward we want to specifically target projects that support Early Years Education which encourage families and children to play and learn together this, in turn, will bring better outcomes for everyone in society.
By supporting families and educators in providing nurturing environments in which our children can flourish and grow into confident self-assured young adults.
We also want to support our amazing teachers and schools so that they can inspire our children to become the heroes of tomorrow through learning and positive mental wellbeing.
By empowering every child, in every community, to achieve their highest educational potential.
Our children of today are the future of tomorrow.
